David Walter
With long experience as a senior TV and radio correspondent and presenter, David Walter offers media consultancy, public affairs consultancy, speech writing, video presentation, production and narration and training in media and presentation skills.
During his radio and TV career, David had experience of all forms of factual broadcasting from news to in-depth documentaries. He was Paris Correspondent for BBC TV, Political Correspondent successively for ITN, Channel Four News and the BBC, a newsreader on Channel Four and BBC World, presenter of the Radio Four programmes Talking Politics, Education Matters and Eurofile, a frequent contributor to Newsnight and On the Record and presenter of editions of Panorama (BBC 1) and Correspondent (BBC 2).
He has also worked as a trainer with the Westminster Foundation for Democracy, primarily in media, in Bosnia, Bulgaria, Russia, Tanzania and Kenya. He has worked as a speechwriter to Paddy Ashdown, Charles Kennedy and Sir Menzies Campbell.
David has written extensively for the print media, in The Economist, The Times, The New Statesman, The Listener, The Independent, The Daily Telegraph and The Guardian. He is the author of four books.
